Michael was raised in Toronto before moving to the United States. After receiving his Juris Doctor (J.D.) in New York, Michael returned to Canada to practice law.

Michael was committed to practicing Criminal Defence and founded M Kay Law. Since then, he has represented hundreds of clients facing a wide range of criminal charges. He has successfully argued cases in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice.
